Aaron's early life was marked by a unique blend of Alaskan and Maryland influences, having spent his formative years in both Anchorage, Alaska and Chevy Chase, Maryland. This diverse upbringing ultimately shaped his future endeavors. He went on to pursue his passion for storytelling, graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Screenwriting. Prior to establishing himself as a full-time screen and television writer in Los Angeles, Aaron honed his skills by producing special edition laser discs for the prestigious Criterion Collection.
Aaron's professional accomplishments are equally impressive. In 2015, he was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Writers Guild of America West, a position he held for an extended period. Furthermore, he served five consecutive terms on the WGAW Board of Directors from 2004 to 2015, demonstrating his commitment to the organization. Additionally, Aaron was a member of the Negotiating Committee in both 2004 and 2007.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Aaron is a devoted family man. He is married and has two beautiful daughters, who undoubtedly bring immense joy to his life.
