Aaron Irons is a multifaceted individual residing in Nashville, Tennessee, who wears many hats, including those of a filmmaker, musician, and programmer/developer.
His most notable achievement to date is the release of his debut feature film, CHEST, in January 2022. As the owner of IFKY Films and AI Multimedia company, Aaron has been actively involved in the production of CHEST, serving as writer, director, producer, and editor. The film was self-funded and underwent partial production over the summer of 2019, with the remaining work being completed in November 2021 after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic.
In addition to his work in filmmaking, Aaron is also an accomplished musician, having played synthesizers and various instruments in several local Nashville bands, including The Non-Commissioned Officers, All We Seabees, Jasmin Kaset, Scale Model, Vermicious K'nids, and under the name iron/fox for solo performances and music.
Aaron's personal life is filled with love and adventure. He is married to his partner Ashley Adkins Irons, who also contributed to the production of CHEST as costumer and assistant director. The couple resides in Nashville with their two beloved cats and a lush collection of plants.
When not working on creative projects, Aaron and his partner are avid cavers and members of the National Speleological Society. They spend their free time exploring the underground world, rappelling into giant pits, and indulging in their shared passion for caving.
During the lockdown period of the pandemic, Aaron discovered a new creative outlet in synthesizer building. He formed IFKY Synths and began constructing his own line of synthesizers and modules, further expanding his artistic horizons.
