True Grit

A feisty teenager teams up with a no-nonsense federal agent to seek vengeance for her father's brutal killing.

After her father's murder by Tom Chaney, a 14-year-old farm girl named Mattie Ross sets out to capture the killer, hiring a tough U.S. marshal named Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn to aid her. Despite his questionable character, Mattie insists on joining Cogburn on his journey into the Indian Nations to track down Chaney.
