An 11-year-old orphan named Annie has been living in a harsh orphanage under the cruel supervision of Miss Hannigan. After multiple failed escape attempts, Annie is sent to live with billionaire Oliver Warbucks for two weeks during Christmas. Despite initial difficulties, Annie wins over the hearts of Warbucks and his staff, even impressing the President of the United States. As Annie grows closer to Warbucks, she begins to search for her biological parents, who had left her a locket at the orphanage. Meanwhile, Miss Hannigan's brother and his girlfriend pose as Annie's parents to claim the reward offered by Warbucks to her biological parents.
