Summer in San Diego is the perfect setting for two families to come together. Lily and Pepin, both 10 years old, meet at the beach and discover they have a lot in common despite being from different places. They decide to introduce their parents, Diane and Jose, who are also on vacation, hoping they will fall in love. However, their plan doesn't go as smoothly as expected, as their parents can't stand each other.
