A German soldier, desperate and worn down by war, takes on the uniform of a Nazi captain, succumbing to his darker impulses and mirroring the atrocities committed by the very enemy he once sought to escape.
As the Third Reich collapses, a deserted soldier finds an abandoned Nazi captain's uniform, which he steals for warmth. However, he soon realizes that many Germans will follow anyone in power, regardless of the uniform.
