Two American performance artists, Whitney Houston and the author, overdosed on Xanax in 2012. One survived, one did not. The author was hospitalized and began a journey towards recovery, questioning the meaning of life. In the 37 years leading up to this event, the author found the answer to be Love. Love and Death are in a constant struggle, and the author longs for a hero to guide them. The author resurrects the ghosts of famous figures and quotes Leonard Cohen, saying "I am not the one who loves/ It's love that chooses me." The author calls upon the audience for help, offering their own experiences.
