Rock musician Jimmy Ford leaves his humble bar gigs in New York and Pennsylvania to chase fame in Nashville, where he faces a mix of success and challenges.
Jimmy Ford, a struggling rock n' roll musician, trades his dreams for the bright lights of Nashville. He finds success with the help of Malinda Price, an up-and-coming singer, but his past comes back to haunt him, forcing him to choose between self-pity and redemption.
