Sister My Sister

In early 1930s France, two young sisters from a rural area take on domestic work in the household of a widowed mother and her awkward daughter. The two groups of women are kept apart by social norms, their personalities, and the physical layout of the house. As the sisters grow closer, their bond becomes an obsession fueled by isolation and unresolved childhood emotions.
