A 20-year-old soldier, Tom Keys, and five others were killed in an Iraqi ambush in 2003. His parents, Reg and Sally, were devastated to learn that their son and his colleagues were inadequately armed and equipped. Sally's grief led to depression, while Reg became determined to hold the government accountable for the war. He ran against Tony Blair in the 2005 election, but lost. Undeterred, Reg founded a campaign group and inspired others to seek justice through the International Criminal Court.
