Ferdinand, a man recently fired from his job at a television station, attends a party with his wealthy wife to network with potential employers. He meets his former mistress, Marianne, a babysitter, and they spend the night together. However, Marianne is involved in smuggling weapons and they must flee Paris with his family behind, embarking on a wild journey to nowhere.
