A struggling musician, Jack, is forced to spend little time with his son Charlie due to his touring schedule. After Jack's untimely death in a car accident, Charlie's grief is overwhelming until Jack returns as a snowman, allowing them to bond and make up for lost time. However, their newfound closeness is threatened by the looming question of what will happen when the weather warms up and Jack's icy form begins to melt.
