Evelyn

In 1950s Ireland, Desmond Doyle, a single father, fights to raise his three young children after his wife abandons them to start a new life in Australia. Despite his best efforts to provide, the government and child services intervene, citing a lack of precedent for a father raising children without a mother. Undeterred, Doyle seeks the help of a retired lawyer, who takes on his case and leads him to the Supreme Court in a bid to regain custody of his children.
