A group of seven young individuals, each with their own financial struggles, participate in a drug trial at the Blackwood Pharmaceutical facility. They soon experience side effects and become awake for an extended period, sparking suspicion and fear among the group. As they try to escape during a 24-hour lockdown, one of the participants, Dr. Burke, is tragically crushed by a door. The remaining group members must work together to uncover the truth behind the experiment, but as they struggle to stay awake, paranoia and hallucinations take over, leading to a desperate fight for survival.
