Gangster Frank Buchanan, deported to Italy, seeks revenge on his enemies with the help of scientist Wilhelm Steigg, who has developed a method to reanimate the dead and control them with commands. However, the process also creates radioactive poisoning, leading authorities to track down the source of the sinister plot using Geiger counters.
