Biography

Don Harvey, a talented and prolific character actor, embarked on his illustrious career by performing in tent shows, repertory companies, and radio productions alongside his wife, Jean Harvey. During his time in Hollywood, he had the opportunity to star alongside the renowned Hedda Hopper on a radio show. In 1949, Harvey signed a contract with Columbia Pictures, which marked the beginning of his journey in the world of cinema.

Harvey's early filmography included starring roles in several serials of the era, such as Atom Man vs. Superman (1950),The Adventures of Sir Galahad (1949),and Batman and Robin (1949). In addition to his work in serials, he also appeared in a number of "B" pictures and a handful of science fiction films. Despite his extensive body of work, Harvey's life was tragically cut short when he succumbed to a heart attack.
