An unlikely alliance develops between a renter and their property owner as they join forces to take down a notorious neighborhood gang that's been causing chaos in the area.
A martial-arts expert and graduate student moves into a house shared with a single mother and her son, who is being targeted by a local street gang. The new tenant tries to protect the boy and his mother from the gang's recruitment efforts, but soon finds himself in a violent confrontation.
