Fahri, a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, struggles to cope with the loss of his wife Aisha, who disappeared during a trip to Palestine with her girlfriend. Despite immersing himself in work and research, Fahri's grief remains strong, and he spends his days thinking about Aisha and their life together. With his busy schedule, Fahri tries to improve the image of Islam and Muslims in the first world, helping those in need and spreading the science of religion. However, a disturbing question lingers in his mind: will he ever find his wife again, or be single for the rest of his life?
