A search and rescue expedition is launched by Eland Mining after three employees go missing in the Namib desert. The team, joined by Dr. Zach Straker, an expert in extreme survival systems, discovers human bones with blood and identifies them as two of the missing men. However, the bodies vanish again, and the team encounters a mysterious monster known as Esikhulu, which can disappear, withstand gunfire, assimilate human bodies, and even turn water acidic.
