Katie Savoy plays Rebecca, a documentary filmmaker investigating the Chinese Ghost Festival in China. She discovers a legend about a concubine, Chan Ju Chi, brutally murdered by the head concubine, Ping Wei, within a palace's secret grounds. According to the legend, Chan Ju Chi has become a "jiangshi", killing innocents to take over their bodies. The story takes a dark turn when a worker is attacked in an old palace's well, and Rebecca must unravel the mystery as her friends are brutally murdered one by one.
