Preparation for the Next Life
A Uyghur woman, trained by her military father, escapes to New York City's Chinatown, where she toils in underground kitchens. Her life takes a fateful turn when she meets a young American soldier, recently returned from the Middle East, and they discover a chance at a better life together.
