In 1904, James Joyce meets Nora Barnacle, a free-spirited hotel maid, in Dublin. He's captivated by her bold nature and soon convinces her to join him in Trieste, where he works for Berlitz. As their relationship deepens, Nora helps Joyce overcome his fears, supports his writing, and even outwrites him. However, his possessiveness ultimately drives her away, leaving him to confront his own insecurities and struggle to publish his work.
