Aedín Moloney is a multifaceted artist, boasting an impressive array of accolades and credits in the world of acting, producing, and directing. One of her most notable endeavors is the 2021 film "Rising, a rush of souls" for Fallen Angel Theatre, which she directed and produced.
Moloney has also collaborated with esteemed authors Colum McCann and Paddy Moloney on various projects. Her work with McCann on the award-winning adaptation and performance "Yes! Reflections of Molly Bloom, 2019/2020" earned her critical acclaim, and she has also worked with Moloney on a full audio recording of the same production.
On the small screen, Moloney has made a name for herself with notable roles in TV series such as The Knick, where she played Sister Mary Michael in season two, and The Exorcist, in which she portrayed Mum. Her filmography also includes the 2000 production Nora, where she starred alongside Ewan McGregor, and the BBC hit series Ballykissangel from 1999.

Moloney has also received numerous awards for her performances, including Best Actress in New Jersey for her role as George Eliot in the world premiere of A Most Dangerous Woman by Cathy Tempelsman, at Shakespeare NJ, directed by Tony winner Richard Maltby, and again in 2014 for her starring role as Dol Common in The Alchemist at Shakespeare NJ, directed by Bonnie Monte.
As the founder and producing artistic director of New York's Fallen Angel Theatre, Moloney has overseen the production of several NYC hits, including Airswimming (2013) and Eva the Chaste (2011). Her other notable theatre credits include the 2012 production of Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel at the Irish Rep in New York, where she played the role of Rose.
