Big Bird, a charming and carefree resident of Sesame Street, is abruptly taken away by a stern social worker, Miss Finch, and sent to live with a quirky family of Dodos. Feeling homesick and isolated, Big Bird decides to embark on a journey to return to his beloved friends on Sesame Street, unaware that they are frantically searching for him.
