The sequel to the original film, the story follows Commissioner of Police Sean Lau, whose life takes a drastic turn when his wife and daughter are taken hostage. In a desperate bid to save them, Sean turns to his former rival and retired DCP, Waise Lee, and reluctantly returns to his old job to join forces and rescue his loved ones.
