Mitchell Goosen, a California teenager, is forced to leave his sunny life behind and move to Cincinnati, Ohio to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousin Wiley. Mitchell, who loves surfing and rollerblading, struggles to adjust to his new life and gets into a rivalry with the school's hockey players. However, when a competition against their arch-rivals, Central High School, is announced, Mitchell and Wiley must put aside their differences and work together to achieve victory.
