In the midst of a royal wedding between Theseus, Duke of Athens, and Hyppolyta, Queen of the Amazons, a tangled web of love and magic unfolds. Demetrius is engaged to Hermia, but she's secretly in love with Lysander, while Helena pines for Demetrius. Meanwhile, Oberon and Titania, the fairy king and queen, are at odds over a young boy Titania is raising, with Oberon using magic to try and claim the child. As the fairy kingdom's dispute intertwines with the human world, a group of actors rehearsing a play for the royal wedding find themselves caught in the midst of chaos, courtesy of mischievous Puck's meddling.
