40 Carats

In the heart of Manhattan, a thriving 40-year-old real estate agent, Ann Stanley, operates her own high-end agency with her 17-year-old daughter Trina and mother Maud, sharing a luxurious home.

Ann Stanley, a 40-year-old Norwegian-American real estate agent, owns a Manhattan agency and lives with her 17-year-old daughter and mother. After a trip to Greece, Ann's uptight attitude has softened, and she meets a 22-year-old steel heir, Peter Latham, who is an acquaintance of her daughter's. While her family encourages her to pursue a wealthy southern gentleman, Peter secretly pursues Ann, who is torn between her feelings for him and her concerns about their age difference.
