Mexican Narcotics officer Ramon Miguel 'Mike' Vargas must put his honeymoon on hold when a bomb kills an American building contractor on the Mexican-US border. The investigation leads him to suspect a Mexican named Manolo Sanchez, but Vargas soon discovers that the real culprits are corrupt US police officers, Captain Hank Quinlan and Sergeant Pete Menzies. As Vargas delves deeper, he uncovers a web of corruption and deceit, and his own wife, Susie, becomes a target for the Grandi crime syndicate.
