Three Pakistani friends, Ruhal Ahmed, Asif Iqbal, and Shafiq Rasul, travel to Pakistan for a wedding and, driven by idealism, venture into war-torn Afghanistan to witness the US-led bombing campaign in 2001. Captured by Northern Alliance fighters, they're later handed over to the US military and taken to the Guantanamo Bay prison camp in Cuba.
