Sam Parsons, a former convict, struggles to rebuild his life with his family in their suburban home. However, supernatural events turn violent, putting his wife and daughter in danger. He hires a reality TV ghost hunting team, "The Ghost Killers", to help him defeat the dark entity. As things escalate, the team's focus on fame and fortune complicates the situation.
