In this Bollywood drama, a cabaret dancer named Sheela is pursued by two men, a small-time thief and a wealthy widower, who are unaware of their rival affections. However, their friendship is disrupted when a rival manipulates them into discovering each other's feelings. As the truth comes to light, one man is wrongly accused of murder and sentenced to life in prison, while the other escapes with stolen loot to the UK with his daughter and the dancer. The wrongly accused man must decide whether to forgive or seek revenge against those who betrayed him.
