Aging bank robber Roy "Mad Dog" Earle is released from prison after 8 years and agrees to pull one more heist at the request of his crime boss. His target is a mountain resort hotel where an "inside man" helps him plan the heist. The team of robbers includes a hotheaded woman and a dance-hall girl who falls for Roy, but he is preoccupied with an innocent young woman he recently met who needs surgery for a foot handicap.
