Two terminally ill cancer patients, Bancroft and Deckermensky, sneak out of the hospital to embark on a series of adventures, with their main goal being to reach a famous brothel in Amsterdam. Along the way, they stop at a wedding, where Bancroft's former flame is a bridesmaid, and meet various characters, including two misfit British women who catch their attention.
