As the clock strikes midnight on December 28th, 1999, New York City prepares to usher in the new millennium. But an unexpected guest crashes the party: the Devil, who takes possession of a man's body and sets out to find his chosen bride, Christine York, a 20-year-old woman. If he succeeds in fathering a child with her between 11:00 PM and midnight, the world will come to an end.
