In the heart of North Borneo's jungle, a team of scientists uncovers the remains of an ancient civilization, led by Dr. Carl Wessinger. He successfully extracts DNA from the bones and seeks the expertise of Ash Mattley to recreate the creature, only needing an enzyme to do so. However, Wessinger is double-crossed, and two years later, Claire Sommers, a CIA agent, approaches Ash for help after a series of gruesome murders occur. She suspects Wessinger is behind the killings, as her agency has lost contact with the jungle lab. Wessinger, who has reanimated the creature, plans to sell it as a war machine to the highest bidder, and it is now loose in the jungle, wreaking havoc and killing everyone in its path.
