Code 46

In a dystopian future, cities are heavily controlled and people need special permits to travel. The government, the Sphinx, issues "papeles" to citizens, but those without IDs live in shanty towns outside the cities. A government investigator, William, falls in love with a woman, Maria, who's behind fake IDs. They have a passionate affair, but it's doomed when William discovers she's been accused of a Code 46 violation, making any further relationship impossible.
