In the suburbs of Louisville, Kentucky, a black Toyota Camry kidnaps a 7-year-old girl named Charlotte. Her mother, Monica, captures the license plate in a video recording, but it's not visible, and the authorities hesitate to issue an Amber Alert. Meanwhile, a woman named Jaq offers a generous tip to her Uber driver, Shane, and asks him to follow a Camry that matches the kidnapper's vehicle. As they follow the car, Jaq throws an earphone into the car to listen to the driver's conversation. However, the driver, Aaron, claims his daughter Olympia is in the car and convinces the authorities to suspend the Amber Alert. Jaq and Shane soon discover that Aaron was trying to get rid of the police and that the cat and mouse game continues.
