The Oranges

In a close-knit community in New Jersey, two families, the Wallings and Ostroffs, are bound together by strong friendships. The friendship between David Walling and Terry Ostroff is particularly strong, as they run together daily. However, David's marriage to Paige is troubled, and he often spends the night in his office. His children, Vanessa and Toby, face their own struggles, with Vanessa struggling to find success as a designer and Toby preparing to move to China for a temporary assignment. Meanwhile, Terry's wife Cathy is distant, and their daughter Nina has been living in San Francisco for five years. When Nina's boyfriend betrays her at his birthday party, she returns to her parents' house, where she finds solace in her father, David. As they grow closer, they begin an affair, shattering the lives of those around them.
