The House Across the Bay

A couple's passionate but forbidden love is put to the test when the mobster, whose wife they are having an affair with, is released from prison, threatening to expose their secret and destroy their lives.

A nightclub owner falls for one of his singers, but their life together is cut short when he's framed and sent to Alcatraz. His wife, suspicious of his lawyer's involvement, befriends a woman whose husband is also jailed and becomes torn between her love for her husband and her growing feelings for another man. As she navigates her complicated emotions, she must also evade the lawyer's attempts to blackmail her and face the harsh realities of her husband's situation.
