A chance encounter with a wealthy noblewoman, who mistook him for someone else, led to his breakthrough. With her help, he presented his compositions to influential figures, and his opera impressed the young king, launching his career. As "Il boemo," the Bohemian, Myslivecek became a sought-after composer, befriending Mozart and traveling extensively. However, his fame was short-lived, as he soon fell ill, marking the beginning of his decline.
