When his grandmother passes away and his grandfather moves in, 12-year-old Marco is forced to trade his iPad for the great outdoors. His grandfather, nicknamed "Nonno," introduces him to bocce ball and a group of elderly Italian men who play daily at the local court. As Marco learns the game and connects with the neighborhood kids, he discovers the joy of sports, laughter, and human connection, ultimately forming a team to challenge his grandfather and his friends.
