Slacker

A day in the life of Austin's social outcasts and misfits is showcased through a series of vignettes, focusing on twenty-somethings who don't conform to establishment norms. Characters move fluidly between scenes, intersecting each other's lives in unexpected ways. The film features a UFO enthusiast convinced the US has been on the moon since the 1950s, a woman who claims to have a glass slide of Madonna's pap smear, and an anarchist who shares his philosophical views with a robber.
