During World War II, a group of prisoners at Alcatraz find themselves in a precarious position after the Pearl Harbor attack. Two inmates, Champ and Jimbo, devise a daring escape plan, which ultimately results in them taking control of a small lighthouse island inhabited by five oblivious residents.

Convicts at Alcatraz prison, fearing Japanese bomb attacks, hatch a desperate escape plan. Two inmates, Champ and Jimbo, successfully escape and take over a tiny lighthouse island, where they find five inhabitants struggling to call for help. However, their takeover is complicated by the presence of a Nazi spy ring with its own sinister plans, as the prisoners must decide whether their own greed or patriotism will prevail.
