Max Seed, a notorious mass murderer, is due to be executed by Warden Wright. Before the execution, Wright asks Seed if he has any last words, and Seed ominously replies, "I'll see you again." Despite three attempts to electrocute him, Seed surprisingly survives, with blood pouring from his eyes. He is eventually pronounced dead, but is actually buried alive. Seed manages to dig his way out, covered in blood and fueled by rage, and sets out to exact revenge, unleashing a wave of extreme violence, gore, and psychological torment.
