In early 20th-century northwestern India, Muslim rebels aim to eliminate a six-year-old Hindu prince to extinguish his family's lineage. To save the child, British Army Captain Scott is tasked with escorting him through treacherous Muslim-controlled territory by train, accompanied by a diverse group of passengers, including the boy's American governess, an arms dealer, a skeptical journalist, and two wealthy Britons.
