The film explores the life of Édith Piaf, a legendary French singer, through an unconventional narrative structure. Born into a troubled family, Piaf's early life is marked by poverty and instability. She becomes a street singer at 20, discovered by a club owner who is later murdered, and coached by a musician who helps her rise to fame.
