Four Harlem teenagers, Q, Bishop, Raheem, and Steel, ditch school one day and discover that an old friend was fatally shot at a bar. This incident sparks a sense of desperation, and Bishop urges his friends to take action to gain respect and influence, known as "juice." They decide to rob a local convenience store, but the outcome is far from what they expected, and one of the friends begins to prioritize personal gain over the group's well-being.
