I Am Michael

Michael Glatze, a prominent gay youth activist, sparked controversy when he claimed to no longer be gay and became a Christian pastor. The film follows Michael's journey from his life in San Francisco to his days of self-discovery. After a traumatic experience, Michael struggles with doubt and paranoia, leading to a religious reawakening. He renounces his gay lifestyle, rejects his friends, and seeks his true self through Buddhism, Mormonism, and eventually becoming a pastor in rural Wyoming.
