Geraldine background

Geraldine

When Janey Edwards, a music industry representative, is left in charge of securing a mysterious property at any cost, her partnership with Billy Weber turns sour as she navigates the challenges of managing his concert tour.

Janey Edwards, a record manager, is tasked with acquiring a folk song for her company, Cambria Records. She poses as a college student to get a recording of the song from its original singer, Grant Sanborn, a music instructor. Despite initial disinterest in the song, the company becomes fascinated with Grant's voice and signs him to a contract. However, they only want him to record popular songs, not his folk music. When "Geraldine" becomes a hit, Janey is torn between her loyalty to Grant and her company's deceptive practices.
